Badal Kumar

Worked with a famous fashion designer Anuj Sharma (button masala) as an assistant designer. 

During that period a special collection was designed by him for MISS KERALA , Designed high fashion ready to wear garments for the Khadi sector using Khadi (a hand spun and hand woven fabric) for high-end market. 

The project was funded by UNDP. The project aimed at providing better job opportunity to spinners and weavers in the sector by linking them to the market through appropriate design intervention. Designed and developed a brand identity “Kutch” for the collection. Also designed the packaging, tags and labels for the collection.

 He has served as visiting faculty in NID, UID and INIFD for pattern making and draping.
