Swapnesh is a designer and researcher of games, play, and learning experiences. He works under his design studio in collaboration with startups and non-profits, as well as other designers, artists, researchers, and developers, to provide design services in the areas of game design, design research, and playful learning.

He is a hobbyist toymaker and interested in developing tools and processes for children to tinker, create, and express themselves playfully. He actively volunteers with schools and learning centers, working with children, teachers, and homeschoolers to help build playful teaching and learning materials.
He is a visiting faculty member at NID Bangalore, NID Assam, GUDS, and Doon University, among other design institutes, where he takes courses and mentors design students in the areas related to games, playful interaction, and communication design.
He is an alumni of the National Institute of Design, Gandhinagar (M.Des. Toy and Game Design) and Government Engineering College, Jabalpur (BE Mechanical Engineering).
